You have everything within you to be at ease in your body, simply from using your breath. When I first discovered the practice of breathwork, I had no idea how impactful it would be for me years later.
It's an energetic approach to healing your body, shifting your energy, and turning inward. Today it's a part of my everyday routine, and I love it! I also love being able to support you with this body of work.
So, What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is an active meditation technique that supports creating a stronger connection with yourself and your body.
How is Breathwork Supportive for Anxiety?
Breathwork creates the possibility to heal and process the trauma stored within the body, shift perspectives on situations or current and previous life experiences, and tap into a sense of peace, bliss, and/or safety. The benefits are endless.
How to Get Started with Breathwork?
Find a quiet place to sit calmly and comfortably. Claim an intention. Then, set a timer for 5 minutes. Take notice of your body and relax your shoulders. If your mind wanders, gently refocus on yourself and your body. Begin a circulating breathing pattern: Deeply inhale for 3 seconds through your nose, and deep exhale for 3 seconds through your mouth. After the timer goes off, release the breath.
